Lime Leadership Grows With First CMO Duke Stump, New CTO Li Fan

Lime is continuously working to leverage world-class talent to help bring clean, affordable mobility access to all.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Duke Stump and Li Fan have joined our leadership team as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively.
Duke Stump Hired As Lime’s First CMO
An alumnus of major brands including Nike and Lululemon, Duke’s global marketing expertise will give clear vision to Lime’s mission of improving micro-mobility and urban living in 2019 and beyond.
“It’s an honor to join the Lime team,” said Stump. “The company brings together what I’m most passionate about: inspiring people and a commitment to being a positive force in the world.”
“I believe we can reimagine urban living through mobility, and I’m excited to work with the team to grow Lime as a defining, purpose-led brand throughout the world.”
Throughout his career, Duke has established himself as a thoughtful and influential voice in the marketing world. At Lululemon he served as the EVP of Brand & Community, spearheading a new strategic direction that launched the company into the global sphere through its This Is Yoga campaign.
He’s also played a crucial role in stressing the importance of inspirational company values, pulling from over 15 years of marketing experience at Nike and his time serving as CMO at Seventh Generation.
Li Fan Appointed New Lime CTO
After joining Lime six months ago, Li Fan has made the leap from Head of Engineering to Chief Technology Officer, where she will assume the duties of both roles.
Li’s tenure has already yielded notable successes, and in late 2018 Forbes named her one of America’s Top 50 Women in Tech. The article noted her decisive leadership at companies like Lime, Google and Pinterest that has solidified her role as a pioneer in the industry.
In her new role, Li will lead Lime’s growing engineering team, improving systems and developing cutting-edge technologies to help push micro-mobility into the future.
“Duke and Li will be tremendous assets to Lime’s executive leadership team,” said Toby Sun, Lime CEO and co-founder. “Duke’s experience growing some of the most iconic consumer brands will be instrumental to furthering Lime’s vision for micro-mobility, and Li’s successful track record and unparalleled leadership skills make her the perfect fit for this role.”
