Lime announces Hannah McClellan as Chief Operating Officer
We’re excited to welcome Hannah McClellan to our executive leadership team as our new Chief Operating Officer.
"Operations sits at the heart of our service and propels our mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free, which is why I’m so glad to welcome Hannah to the team," said Wayne Ting, CEO of Lime. "What stood out to me about Hannah is her ability to take incredibly complex logistical challenges and make them work seamlessly for customers at scale. She's spent her career building and growing businesses at an extraordinary level, and I'm excited about what we'll accomplish together as we continue delivering for riders and city partners."
The Operations org at Lime is foundational to our business. Our local and central Operations teams ensure hundreds of thousands of vehicles are charged, maintained and optimally deployed across approximately 230 cities in 29 countries on five continents, every day. Behind every ride is a complex, tech-enabled global operation working around the clock to keep our service reliable and available for the millions of riders who depend on Lime, and the cities that place their trust in us as a key transportation partner.
At Lime, operational excellence isn't an end in itself. It's how we deliver a great rider experience, support our city partners' transportation goals, and ultimately get closer to our mission: to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. We're so excited Hannah will be leading this work into the future. Since starting in June, she has already hit the ground running.
Hannah brings more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale operations teams. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Operations for Amazon Pharmacy, where she was responsible for the operations, product and technology powering Amazon's U.S. pharmacy network. Prior to that role, she served as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Amazon's Worldwide Stores organization, helping support one of the largest and most sophisticated operating networks in the world, and spent five years in Amazon Transportation Services, where she served as Vice President of Inbound Transportation, overseeing the movement of goods from suppliers into Amazon's fulfillment network. She also helped launch Amazon Freight, extending Amazon's middle-mile logistics capabilities into a commercial shipping service, and led the company's Global Customer Returns organization.
“When I first started learning about Lime, I was struck by the scale of what the team accomplishes every day," said Hannah McClellan. "What makes it even more exciting is the impact. Every operational improvement helps create a better experience for riders and strengthens Lime's ability to serve cities as a trusted, sustainable transportation partner. Getting hundreds of thousands of vehicles ready for riders across hundreds of cities isn’t just an incredible operational challenge, it’s exactly the kind of mission-driven challenge I love. I'm proud to join the team and help build what's next."
