Lime welcomes three new members to its board of directors
We're excited to welcome three new members to our board of directors. Each brings a wealth of experience to support Lime’s executive team and future growth plans.
Jim Rowan
Jim Rowan, Chair of the Lime Board of Directors, served as the Chief Executive Officer at Volvo Cars from March 2022 to April 2025. He was a Board member at Polestar and Lynk & Co, and served as the Chairman of the Automotive sector for the World Economic Forum. During this time Jim was recognised as CEO of the year for Newsweek and Autonews and listed in Time Magazine as a Global 100 Climate Leader. In July 2025, he joined the Board of Lotus Cars. For the previous four years, he also served as Board member for Henkel GmbH and until recently sat on the Industrial Advisory Board of Nanyang Technology University, (NTU) Singapore for seven years. Prior to this, Jim was the COO then CEO of Dyson, where he was also a board member from 2012 to 2020. Prior to Dyson, he served as the COO for BlackBerry for several years. During his career, he has lived and worked in the UK, the EU, North America and Asia, spending more than a decade in Singapore. Jim studied Mechanical & Production Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University and holds an MSc in Business with Supply Chain Management from Northumbria University, UK. In 2023, Jim was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University in recognition of his services to product development and production engineering. In 2024 he was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Science in recognition of his contributions towards vehicle safety.
Elizabeth Hamren
Elizabeth Hamren has served as the CEO of AllTrails, an app-based service to connect people with the great outdoors, since August 2025. She was previously the CEO of Ring Inc. from March 2023 to June 2025. Prior to that, she served as the COO of Discord from December 2021 to March 2023. Elizabeth served in various roles at Microsoft between March 2017 and December 2021, and as Head of Marketing and Sales at Oculus VR from August 2015 to March 2017. She also serves as a board member of Hasbro and LegalZoom. Elizabeth holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.
Brandon Pedersen
Brandon Pedersen was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alaska Air Group, Inc. from June 2010 to March 2020 and previously served as Vice President Finance and Corporate Controller from 2003 to 2010. Prior to his positions at Alaska Air, Brandon served as audit partner at KPMG LLP from 2001 to 2003 and at Arthur Andersen LLP from 2001 to 2000. He also serves on the boards and audit committees of Expeditors International of Washington, Inc., Saltchuk Holdings, Inc., and Trivago N.V. Brandon holds a B.A. in Business Administration (Accounting) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.
