No sidewalk riding
Wear a helmet
Must be 18 years or older to ride
Only one person at a time may ride a vehicle.
Park vehicles upright at a bike rack and secure with lock. Don’t block sidewalks, doorways, driveways, or transit stops.
Do not ride on the Embarcadero Promenade
Riding under the influence is prohibited
Scooters are not permitted on Muni
Regular pricing: $1.00 unlock, $.50 a minute
Lime Access pricing: $.50 unlock, $.24 a minute
Riders can sign up by downloading the Lime app from IoS or the Android store. Once in the app, you enter your information and you will have the ability to begin riding in San Francisco (and hundreds of other locations worldwide). Reminder, that Lime is for riders 18 years of age and older.
We encourage everyone to wear a helmet while riding a Lime e-scooter, though they are not required by law to wear in San Francisco.

Lime Access is our global equity program that provides discounted rides to eligible residents. It is part of our core mission to provide sustainable transportation options to all. Lime Access members in San Francisco will receive a discounted rate of $0.50 to unlock plus $0.24 per minute.
