Ride pause

Follow the Rules of the Road

Wear a helmet
We recommend helmets for every rider. Wear it every time you ride. Safety first.

No tandem or underage riding
Riding with more than one person per vehicle or underage riding is never allowed. Check local laws and regulations for the minimum riding age in your area.

Don't drink and Lime
Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substance that impairs your ability to operate a Lime safely puts you and others in danger and is illegal in most places.

Ride respectfully
Obey traffic lights and be mindful of fellow road users. Do not ride on the sidewalk or pedestrian areas unless local laws specifically allow. Instead, use cycle/bike lanes whenever possible.

Park smart
When ending your trip, parking might be a little different than you're used to. You’ll either need to park your Lime in a parking bay, bike rack or neatly on the sidewalk. Just look in the Lime app to see the best way to park when you reach your destination!

You’ll see the nearest parking spots on our map. Just look out for the 🅿️ icons. Proper parking keeps our cities clean and helps make you a true Lime local.
