Pride in Motion: a recap of Lime’s 2026 global Pride campaign

This June, we showed up in cities around the world through Pride in Motion, our 2026 global Pride campaign.

With over 25 local partnerships in over 22 cities across the US, Europe and Australia, we supported community-led events and created city-specific activations that celebrated Pride in ways that felt visible, joyful and rooted in place.

Our mission was clear: support our rider community by helping people get where they need to go for Pride, while partnering with local organizations in meaningful ways that reflect the communities they serve.

A global campaign built through local partnership

Each activation was shaped by local partners, local events and local needs. From vehicle wraps and public art to cultural sponsorships and community celebrations, Pride in Motion reflected something we believe deeply: Pride looks different in every city, and the best way to show up is by following the lead of the communities and organizations already embedded in the work. That meant partnering with Pride organizations, arts groups and advocacy nonprofits helping build more inclusive communities every day, while investing in the people and partnerships that shape the cities we serve.

Community Pride activations

Throughout June, we partnered with organizations around the world to bring Pride to life in creative, community-centered ways:

  • Chicago: We partnered with AIDS Foundation of Chicago to highlight Queer Chicago artists throughout the month. We celebrated the icons who paved the way through street stencils scattered throughout the city. Rooted in the idea that progress isn’t built in a day, but brick by brick, the Lime Brick Road paid tribute to Queer trailblazers and allies across Chicago whose contributions helped shape a brighter tomorrow. We also worked with Haus of Paint, a Chicago-based LGBTQ+ art collective, on custom scooter wraps, turning our vehicles into moving expressions of Pride across Chicago.

  • London: Serving as principal sponsor of Classical Pride, London’s annual music festival curated by conductor Oliver Zeffman, celebrating the breadth and diversity of LGBTQ+ artists across classical music. We launched a limited edition run of Classical Pride bikes helping drive ticket sales for the events and collaborated on social media content.

  • Washington, D.C.: We were proud sponsors of Capital Pride, showing up in one of the country’s most visible Pride celebrations and helping connect riders to the events, gatherings and spaces that define the month.

  • Atlanta: We partnered with Out Front Theatre Company, Georgia’s only LGBTQIA+ theatre company, sponsoring a local production and directing $5,000 in ride proceeds to support the work they do to amplify LGBTQIA+ voices through professional theatre.

  • Indianapolis: We partnered with Indy Pride by sponsoring the festival’s sober zone, offering free rides through a local promo code and encouraging safer riding behavior throughout the festivities.

  • Milano: We created a 2026 Lime Pride Itinerary, by curating a route highlighting 9 iconic places that have shaped the history of Milan's LGBTQIA+ community. Through this initiative, we celebrated the city's legacy of inclusion while encouraging people to explore it using sustainable shared mobility. The Lime pride itinerary was shared with the press and resulted in 100% positive and dedicated media articles. . In parallel, we partnered with a local content creator Rocco Toniolo, to showcase three meaningful places in the city where he has always felt free to be himself. Through an authentic Reel and two supporting IG Stories, the campaign reinforced Lime's commitment to inclusion while promoting shared mobility as a safe and empowering way to explore the city.

  • Paris: We created a Pride map and launched a dedicated Ride for Pride press release featuring an 11 km Lime bike itinerary retracing Paris’ LGBTQIA+ history, positioning Lime as a way to explore the city through memory, visibility and Pride. We also sponsored a Reel with Mami Watta—Drag Race France finalist, All Stars winner, Dring Dring Show #2 guest star and organic Lime user—to connect the brand with drag culture through an authentic story around freedom, safety and self-expression.

Together, these moments were part of a broader global effort to support LGBTQIA+ communities year-round through partnerships that are locally rooted and global in reach.

Looking forward

At its core, Pride in Motion is about access, visibility and connection. Pride is about showing up for one another, gathering with chosen family and being able to participate fully in city life.

We are proud of what this year’s campaign made possible, and even more proud of the partners who brought it to life. From Chicago to London to Washington, D.C. and across cities around the world, this year’s campaign was a reminder that meaningful support starts at the community level.

To everyone who partnered with us, rode with us and celebrated with us this month: thank you. We are honored to keep moving forward with Pride.
