Wallet Terms & Conditions

Your Wallet consolidates all ride-time minutes (e.g., Minute Bundles, Swapstation, third-party bundles, or credits issued by Lime) into one place for easier tracking and use.

1. General Rules

The following rules apply to how Wallet minutes are used and managed:

  • Wallet minutes are automatically applied to your next ride.

  • For the purpose of calculating minute usage, one full minute will be deducted for each minute consumed or any portion thereof. This means that any started minute will be treated as a full minute.

  • Wallet minutes can only be used in the country in which they were earned or purchased.

  • Wallet minutes are consumed based on their expiration date, starting with the minutes that expire soonest. Certain minute types, such as Courier Pass minutes, may take priority.

  • Expiration period varies based on the specific minute type you have, and is indicated in the App.

  • Wallet minutes may be used for both the host and guests during a Group Ride, except where different rules apply to a specific minute type or offer.

2. Specific Rules by Minute Type

The following rules apply to specific types of Wallet minutes and may override the general rules above:

  • Minute Bundles (e.g., LimePass or minute bundles purchased via third party) discount both ride time and unlock fees. Expiration period varies depending on the Minute Bundle purchased.

  • Swapstation Minutes do not discount the unlock fee and expire 1 year after being earned.

  • Additional rules or limitations may apply to specific Wallet minute types, as stated in the applicable offer or reflected in the Lime App.

3. Refund Credits

The following rules apply to Wallet minutes that may be issued as a goodwill adjustment in connection with certain ride experiences:

  • Issued at Lime’s discretion for certain ride scenarios.

  • Apply only to ride time and unlock fees (if applicable) and have no cash value.

  • Expire 30 days from the date of issuance.
