300M Rides Terms and Conditions

  1. By submitting your entry to let us know “what moves you” (“Entry”), you agree to these terms. You must be over 18 years of age to submit an Entry.

  2. We shall be entitled to use your Entry, name, photo, social media handle(s) or other content (“Content”) on our website, apps and any and all social media channels (including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) in any way that we choose, for any length of time, anywhere in the world. You hereby grant us a worldwide, sub-licensable, assignable, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, unrestricted licence to use, edit, alter, reproduce, translate, publish and/or distribute your Content in any way that we choose. You promise that you have the right to grant us this licence.

  3. You promise that your Content is your original creation and not copied from anyone else.

  4. You hereby agree that we can edit, crop, adapt, enhance or modify your Content and can incorporate it into other works.

  5. You understand that other users of social media platforms can also share and make use of your Content once posted (for example by retweeting or resharing the content, or by taking a screenshot of the content).

  6. We will remove your Content from our social media channels upon request at any time. Please allow 30 days for any such request to be actioned. We will not be responsible for actioning deletion from any third party that may have reproduced your Content.

  7. By accepting these terms you agree that you will have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim of any kind whatsoever arising out of any use (in accordance with these terms) of your Content and you irrevocably waive any moral rights you may have in the Content.

  8. You understand and agree that we have no obligation to use the Content (or any part thereof) in any way and that we may remove the Content (or any part thereof) from any website or social media channel at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion.

  9. To the extent that any of your Content involves another individual (other than you), they must be over 18 years of age and you hereby confirm that you have their consent for us to use any Content in which they are included in the ways set out in these terms and conditions.

  10. You hereby agree that the use by us of your Content in the ways set out in these terms and conditions will not violate any applicable law, rule or regulation, be defamatory or offensive, breach the terms of any social media platform, or infringe the rights of any third party (including but not limited to intellectual property rights).

  11. In return for providing an Entry, you will receive a ride credit worth $5 USD which will be automatically applied to your Lime account within a reasonable time after receiving your Entry. The credit may only be used on your Lime account. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other promotion. Credits cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code. Credits will expire if not used within 90 days of issue.

  12. To the extent that your Content contains any personal data, this will be handled in accordance with Lime’s Privacy Notice available at li.me.
