Safety has always been at the forefront of Lime’s mission, and that’s why we’re so excited to team up with French start-up Cosmo Connected to help riders around the world stay safe by equipping them with the very latest in safety gear.

Starting today, Lime riders will now be able to choose from a selection of Cosmo Connected safety gear showcased on the company’s safety website https://safety.li.me/, via the Lime app and on Cosmo Connected’s site. In addition to riding safely, users will be able to enjoy a discount of up to 25% on select Cosmo Connected products.

Cosmo Connected gear will include a connected light that fits on the back of a bicycle or scooter helmet with an accelerometer and indicators to help prevent changes in the cyclist's behavior, while on-board technology makes it possible to share one's route, detect falls and warn family and friends in the event of an accident.
