At Lime, we believe that unlocking life is about more than just transportation. It’s about cultivating positive change, and that includes supporting a more diverse and inclusive world for the communities we serve.

That’s why this June we’re partnering with the It Gets Better Project to help empower people all over the world to be a part of a better, more compassionate future. Launched by Dan Savage and his partner Terry Miller, the It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization that leverages the power of media to provide critical support and hope to LGBTQ+ young people around the world.

Throughout Pride Month, Lime is encouraging members of the LGBTQ+ community and its Allies to share their stories of love, acceptance and staying true to themselves. For every story shared globally on social media throughout the month of June, Lime will donate $1 to the It Gets Better Project.

Here’s how you can participate:

1. Take a self portrait (feel free to be creative)
2. Take a photo of a handwritten note sharing your Pride story of how you found a sense of freedom and be the inspiration you wish you had growing up
3. Upload both photos to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter along with hashtag #UnlockPride
