How Logistics Providers Support Lime

Battery Management

We collaborate with Logistics Providers to support vehicle availability across the Lime network. Providers may offer services such as battery charging, battery swapping, and vehicle transportation in accordance with agreed commercial terms.

Deploying and Retrieving Vehicles

Logistics Providers may transport vehicles between designated service locations and warehouses as part of the services their businesses choose to provide, helping ensure riders have access to vehicles where and when demand exists.

Our Promise

Operating Your Business

Business Entity

Logistics Providers operate their own businesses and determine how to staff, manage, and compensate their workforce in accordance with applicable laws and their independent business needs.

As Lime’s platform expands in certain markets, providers may elect to pursue additional commercial opportunities based on their capacity and business goals.

Local Laws

The business entity must be registered under the local law.

Insurance Coverage

Must meet standard insurance coverage minimums.

Fleet of Vehicles

Logistics Providers must have access to a fleet of vehicles such as Vans, Cargo Bikes and Trucks. EVs on business fleet are a plus!

Personnel & Staff

Logistics Providers We Work With

  • Farooq began as a gig juicer in 2018. He started working with TGCC in 2020 when Lime shifted to a single-LP tender. With TGCC he also worked as a type of sub/franchise for the Gothenburg market in Sweden. New Concept was founded in June 2021; he runs New Concept although technically is bringing together local market knowledge and operational experience. New Concept began supporting Lime’s platform toward the end of 2021 and continues to operate as an independent service provider in the Stockholm region.

  • Cora founded Tranda five to six years ago, drawing on her background in economics, sales, and finance. Her entrepreneurial experience and strong local network helped her grow Tranda into an independent logistics business serving the Stockholm market.

Through community connections and Lime’s standard vendor onboarding process, Tranda began supporting Lime’s platform as part of its broader logistics operations.

  • Mohammed and Asmar built their logistics business after gaining experience in the micromobility space and later founded Asmar Transport as an independent logistics company serving the Berlin market in August 2021.

Asmar relocated to Germany several years ago after fleeing civil war. He continues to use Arabic in his day-to-day operations and values having access to platform tools available in multiple languages, which supports effective communication and helps his business operate smoothly across a diverse team.

  • Salim has operated a micromobility focused business in Paris since 2018, alongside a retail and rental shop offering cargo bikes to the public and local courier services. His existing infrastructure and expertise allowed him to expand into logistics services supporting multiple commercial clients.

Franck, who had prior experience working with logistics providers in the city, joined Salim in early 2021. Together, they operate Truck-It as an independent logistics business serving the Paris market.
