Here's how to park correctly
Help us keep the streets of Rotterdam safe and accessible for all.
Look for mobility hubs and parking spaces 🅿️
In more and more neighborhoods of Rotterdam, mobility hubs are being set up to bundle the mobility options across the city and provide you with dedicated parking spaces for your Lime e-bikes. Look for the parking symbol 🅿️ in your Lime app to find a dedicated parking space or a mobility hub nearby you.
If there are no dedicated parking spaces for shared e-bikes in your area, you may park on the pavement, on footpaths, at the side of the road or wherever an official sign indicates that bicycle parking is permitted. However, always make sure that you are not blocking sidewalks, bicycle lanes or causing a hazard to other road users, especially pedestrians and other cyclists.

How to park in areas without 🅿️
In places where there are not yet mobility hubs or other designated parking spaces, you may park in all areas that permit bicycle parking as long as you respect the following rules:
Look for designated parking areas where bicycle parking is permitted in Rotterdam. Do not park on the road or on bicycle lanes.
Do not park towards the walls of houses, as they serve as orientation for visually impaired people
When parking in a permitted area, always check that there is enough room for pedestrians, wheelchairs, strollers, and other vulnerable road users to pass
Always keep emergency lanes clear and ensure access for rescue services
If you park on a sidewalk, keep at least 1.2 meters of clearance
Always think twice about parking your Lime e-bike and help us keep bike parking areas in Rotterdam safe and tidy. Examples of good parking can be found below.

Always remember the following parking rules
Pay attention to the no parking zones
The red coloured zones in your Lime app are no parking zones. You will not be able to end your trip when your Lime vehicle is in one of these zones. It's best to check the app before you rent a Lime vehicle to see if your destination is in a no-parking zone and plan your ride accordingly. Don’t leave the vehicle in the no parking zones, marked red in the app to avoid receiving a fine.Make sure you ace the end-trip photo 📸
You have to take a photo of the parked vehicle to end the ride. We review all photos to check that you parked your e-scooter or e-bike in line with the rules. Make sure to ace your photo to avoid warnings and fines.
