Use of the Hackney credit (the “Program”) is subject to Lime’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy, as well as these additional terms below.

The Program will be initially open until 30 April 2026.

1. Eligibility and Participation

The Program provides a one time 50 minute bundle-credit (as an add-on to your already purchased 400 minute bundle) , subject to limitations, to eligible riders.

To qualify, and retain, eligibility for the Program you will need to submit documentation demonstrating your qualification.Additional eligibility requirements may apply. Both Program eligibility requirements and your qualification to meet said requirements, may be subject to review by Lime from time to time.

To qualify, you must provide your first name, last name, email address, phone number, details of your Lime Account evidencing an active 400 minute pass bundle and proof of residency from an official source showing a postcode located in London Borough of Hackney that is less than 90 days old (For example a utility bill, bank statement, council letter, or similar official document).

Your access to the reduced rate under the Program is limited to one-time redemption per single Lime rider account on a single device and is not transferable across accounts or for use by other riders under your account. In the event that you purchase a new 400 minute pass bundle, you can reapply for the Hackney Discount provided you still qualify under the eligibility criteria set out above and in the form.

You may only use your Lime account, including access to reduced rates under the Program, for personal transportation and not for business or commercial purposes. You may not combine the Program’s reduced fares with LimePass subscription.

Any benefit provided under the Program has no cash value and is not eligible for credit, whether used or not, unless otherwise required by applicable law.Lime reserves the right to limit the enrollment or trips taken under the Program and to limit or omit certain ride features for trips taken under the Program. Trips taken under the Program may be limited in duration, frequency, or by time of day at Lime’s sole discretion.

2. Permissible Use

All Lime riders must comply with applicable laws and regulations governing use, riding, and parking of Lime vehicles. Failure to do so or any fraudulent or illegal use of the Program or violation of these terms and conditions or Lime’s User Agreement, may result in removal from the Program, termination or suspension of your Lime account, or other actions taken by Lime at its sole discretion.

3. Hackney Credit Issuance and Membership Renewal

If you meet the eligibility criteria, and your application is approved by Lime, Lime will add a 50 minute credit into your Lime account that you can apply to your rides.

This is designed as an “add on” to your independently purchased 400 minute credit and is valid for the same/equivalent number of remaining days on your 400 minute bundle. The remaining days on your 400 minute bundle will be calculated from the date you applied to Lime for the Hackney Credit.

For the avoidance of doubt, see example below:

• Example: If X brought a 400 minute Lime bundle on 1 December and applied to the Program on 25 December, X will be given 5 days from the date the 50 minutes credit is applied to their Lime account to use the 50 minute credit. Any unused portion of the credit still remaining on 31 December will not carry over after 31 December.

In using the LimePass alongside your Hackney credit, we’ll process the minutes remaining Any unused portion of any discount for an eligible trip will not carry over after the expiration date.

4. Data sharing

We use the information and documents you provide solely to verify your eligibility for this Program and handle them as described in Lime’s Privacy Notice. Lime may also request additional information in order to evidence the proof of residency in the London Borough of Hackney.

5. Changes to Terms

Lime may update these terms or change any aspect of your membership at any time, without notice to you. Your continued use of the Program after we change these terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
