A more flexible way to ride: introducing our Delivery Pass pilot in London
We’re piloting something new in London: a Delivery Pass designed to give people using Lime bikes for delivery a more flexible and affordable way to ride.
We built Delivery Pass to keep things simple: A flat fee for access to our fleet, with no need to own a bike, worry about charging or deal with maintenance.
Using Lime bikes for delivery
We’ve designed a range of passes to match the different ways riders might want to use Lime bikes for delivery:
£12 for 24 hours
Up to £49 for 7 days
Plus 3-day and 5-hour passes
All with access to Lime e-bikes for as many rides as needed during that time.
As part of the pilot, we’re also introducing small, detachable racks for riders using Lime bikes for delivery at no extra cost, subject to availability. They’re easy to store at home, simple to attach, and built to support a range of grocery and parcel deliveries.
Less hassle, more time on the road
Instead of relying on a single personal bike or battery, riders get access to our fleet. No time spent charging, and no need to worry about maintenance.
This means more time on the road, with the flexibility to ride for longer or take breaks when needed.
Access to e-bikes can also help reduce reliance on mopeds for deliveries, supporting cleaner, quieter streets across the city.
A more reliable option
The pass could also help to address the rise of unregulated, illegal e-bikes in London which are a growing concern across the city.
Our e-bikes are fully compliant, speed-limited to 15 mph, and powered by UL-certified batteries. They’re designed with safety in mind, including battery management systems that monitor performance and detect potential issues. Every vehicle is regularly inspected and maintained to high standards.
Part of a bigger picture
The Delivery Pass is part of our broader effort to make active transport more accessible and affordable.
It follows the launch of LimePrime, our subscription for everyday riders, which brings the cost of riding in line with, or below, public transport across UK cities.
As more people turn to e-bikes every day, we want to keep building options that are practical and flexible.
