Lime in Nashville
Lime is one of the key providers in Nashville's Shared Bike and Scooter Program, offering residents and visitors access to a fleet of electric bikes and scooters across the county. The service is accessible through the Lime mobile app. To promote accessibility, Lime offers the needs-based "Lime Access Program" for discounted rides, in addition to a 30% discount for all Metro Nashville Government employees. The city encourages riders to park devices responsibly in the newly installed micromobility corrals, marked pavement boxes, and racks throughout the downtown area. These Terms govern your access to and use of Lime products and/or services (collectively, our “Services”), so please read them carefully and make sure that you fully understand them before using the Lime Services. If you do not wish to review, or don’t understand, or agree to be bound by the Terms, please do not access or use the Lime Services.
Rider and Vehicle Rules
Age and License
You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
One Rider
Only one person is permitted on a scooter at a time.
Impaired Riding
Operating a scooter under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances is prohibited.
Competent Operation
You must be able to operate the vehicle safely and confirm this ability.
Where to Ride
Business Districts
Riding on sidewalks in business districts is prohibited.
Designated Zones
The city's shared bike and scooter program uses geofencing to restrict operation in ""slow zones,"" ""no ride zones,"" and ""no parking zones.""
Bike Paths
When a designated bicycle path is available, you must use it.
Parking & Safety
Designated Areas
You must park the vehicle upright in designated areas indicated in the rental app.
No Obstruction
Park scooters so they do not obstruct access or traffic.
Yield to Pedestrians
You must yield to pedestrians and verbally warn them before passing.
Maneuver Awareness
Be aware of cars, bikes, other scooters, and pedestrians at all times.
No Distractions
You may not listen to music or use other devices that could hinder your ability to operate the scooter safely.

Penalties
Users are responsible for adhering to all local laws and regulations regarding the operation and parking of our devices. Please review the designated ""no parking"" areas clearly marked on the map in our app. Parking a device in a prohibited location may result in a $10 fine.
