Lime E‑Scooter in Klagenfurt
Lime has been operating in Klagenfurt since July 2021, offering 200 e-scooters, 30 of which are specifically available in Vitkring. These scooters allow you to travel conveniently throughout the city – from the Airport to Lake Wörthersee.
Usage
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Always ride alone
- Wear a helmet if possible
- Ride only on bike lanes and streets
- Never use a Lime scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Parking
Within the Ring:
Please always park at the blue-marked parking pins in the LIME app. These are designated parking zones established by the city of Klagenfurt to ensure orderly use of public space.
Outside the Ring:
Please adhere to the following rules:
- Do not park in pedestrian zones, shared zones, or short-term parking zones (except in the immediate vicinity of bicycle parking facilities).
- Do not park in public green areas or on playgrounds.
- Do not park in front of buildings or sites of cultural significance.
- Do not park on sidewalks that are less than 2.5 meters wide.
- On sidewalks wider than 2.5 meters, ensure that at least 2.0 meters of space remains.
- Do not park on bike paths or shared bike and pedestrian paths.
- Do not park in bicycle parking facilities.
- Do not park in public transport stop areas (except in the immediate vicinity of bicycle parking facilities).
- Do not park in areas with tactile guidance systems.
These rules help ensure the safe and orderly use of the e-scooters.
