INTRODUCING LIME-S, THE REVOLUTIONARY ELECTRIC SCOOTER FROM LIMEBIKE
After months of intense testing and tweaking with select city partners, we’re excited to announce the release of LimeBike’s next generation of smart mobility products.
With a sleek, fun design, 250-watt motor and 37-mile maximum range, Lime-S is a perfect complement to our fleet of pedal and electric-assist bikes. The scooters are lightweight and easy to maneuver, making them ideal for quick city commutes. On top of that, they’re also incredibly fun to ride.
“LimeBike has been winning the hearts and minds of riders because we listen,” explained LimeBike co-founder and CEO Toby Sun. “The diversification of our fleet, with the launch of Lime-E and Lime-S, further strengthens [our] position as the leading smart mobility solution provider.”
Our team has been working to educate new Lime-S riders over the past several months, and the program is already demonstrating success. In our Bay Area pilot markets, we’ve seen amazing utilization of our e-scooter products that has led to an even stronger increase in the usage of pedal bikes. We'll be building upon this early success by continuing to launch Lime-S in other regions over the coming weeks.
SO HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Accessibility is one of LimeBike’s core tenets, which is why we’re keeping the cost of Lime-S low. At just $1 to unlock and $0.10/minute to ride, now that 2-mile trip across town won't even set you back $2.
That’s less than half the minimum fare of just about every ride share, and getting there is literally as easy pushing a button.
To make things even simpler, we’ve put together a Lime-S page to help answer all of your questions about the newest member of the LimeBike fleet. Check it out here, and vote to bring LimeBike’s new game-changing electric scooters to your city.
