Economic Mobility: Lime Partners With Delphi Economic Forum To Promote Inclusive Growth

Around the world, accessible mobility is being recognized as a key component of economic health - and perhaps nowhere has this concept been more visible than at last week’s Delphi Economic Forum.

The four-day event, entitled “The Challenge of Inclusive Growth”, welcomed global political and business leaders to Greece to discuss emerging trends, address pressing economic issues and “promote sustainable and socially responsible growth policies for Greece, Europe and the wider Eastern Mediterranean region.”

On the heels of successful launches in Athens and Thessaloniki, Lime was present in Delphi as the forum’s official smart mobility partner. The global leader in micromobility provided e-scooter rides to the nearly 2,000 attendees, including European Parliament Member Eva Kaili and U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt.

“Welcomed Lime delegation to Delphi Forum and their decision to invest in Greece,” the ambassador wrote on Twitter. “Also enjoyed a really fun ride - thanks!”

With bikes and scooters available in over 100 cities including London, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Berlin, Warsaw and Athens, Lime is committed to using innovative technologies to provide better, cleaner and more accessible mobility options to all Europeans.

“We’re delighted to cooperate with the Delphi Economic Forum,” said Alessandro Tommasi, Regional Government Relations Director at Lime. “Micromobility is playing an increasingly important role in urban life both here in Greece and around the world, so giving global leaders the opportunity to experience the benefits for themselves allows for a more informed and well-rounded economic dialogue.”
