How do I know where to park in Sydney?
Depending on where you end your trip in Sydney, you’ll either need to park your Lime in a parking bay, bike rack or neatly to the side of the footpath.
The good news is, all this is shown in our app - no sweat. If your final destination is an area that requires you to park in a bay, you’ll see the nearest parking spots on our map - just look out for the P icons. Easy.
How to park in a P bay

In certain areas parking bays are mandatory.
These locations will be shown via our app with a P when you end your ride. No need to plan ahead - just make sure you park like a pro.
Guidelines:
Both wheels are inside the markings
Park in line/parallel with other vehicles
If the bay is too full or there’s no room, Lime to a different bay

How to park in a bike rack

In some areas of the city, you are also allowed to park Limes in public bike racks; these are marked with P on the Lime map.
Guidelines:
The bike should be in line/parallel with the rack
Leave space for other cyclists to lock their bikes
If it’s too full or there’s no room, Lime to another rack
How to park in areas with no P

When parking your Lime, you should always be considerate of other footpath users.
Guidelines:
Close to the edge of the footpath or space, with the kickstand away from the road
Park in line with lampposts, bins, trees, etc.
Leave space for wheelchair users, prams, cars, and pedestrians
If the area is too small to park without causing an obstruction, park elsewhereDo not park on uneven ground

What happens if you don’t park correctly?

If you don’t park according to the rules, you’ll receive a warning from us.
Continue to park incorrectly?
This will result in a parking charge fee. Charges can increase up to $25. Repeat offenders may be banned from our service.
