Lime Supports Spokane Pop-Up Downtown Vaccination Clinic with Free Ride Credits

As we continue to roll out our Ride to Recovery initiative to more cities, we're thrilled to announce that we're coordinating with local leaders in Spokane, Washington, to offer free rides to the downtown pop-up vaccination clinic on happening Thursday, May 13, 2021, andMay 18. The pop-up clinic is organized through a partnership with the Spokane Regional Health District, the Downtown Spokane Partnership, the City of Spokane and the Washington State Department of Health.

We're proud to have served Spokane since 2018 as the City’s sole micromobility provider, and we're committed to supporting the community efforts necessary to enable a continued, safe return to all of Spokane’s fantastic local businesses and community attractions.

Riders who use Lime to get to or from any vaccination appointment through the end of June are eligible to receive two rides for free (up to 15 minutes each) by entering the promo code SPORIDETORECOVERY. We'll also continue communicating helpful vaccine information to users via in-app messaging, email and social media. More information on vaccinations and vaccine locations can be found on SRHD’s website.

“Vaccinations are saving lives and paving the way for economic recovery and Lime is ready and willing to do our part to help,” said Lime CEO Wayne Ting. "Our Ride to Recovery program is helping cities around the world get moving again and we are proud to extend this offer in Spokane. We want everyone to be able to get to and from their vaccine appointment easily, safely, and affordably, including those who don’t own cars or are looking for an open-air transportation option."

"Throughout the pandemic, Lime, SRHD, the Downtown Spokane Partnership and the City of Spokane have worked together to support a safe and healthy city," said Jonathan Hopkins, Lime's strategic development director for the Pacific Northwest. "A key part of continuing that work is getting everyone vaccinated. We're focused on making the process as seamless as possible to aid a return to a pandemic-free, healthy community."
