Tuesday, March 20th officially marks the first day of Spring,and we’re fired up with so many things to celebrate: our riders, new additions to our dock-free smart mobility fleet, warmer weather to ride in and all the holidays (we see you, South Bend)!
But this time, in order to celebrate and ride hard into Spring, we're issuing a challenge. Drumroll please…
ANNOUNCING THE LIMEBIKE LONGEST RIDE INTO SPRING CHALLENGE! #LIMERIDEINTOSPRING
WHO:
WHAT:
A contest to see who will ride the farthest distance on a Lime before April 1st! Winners will have their winning ride paid for and receive an additional $100 in ride credits.
WHEN:
Starting March 16th (the Friday before St. Patty’ Day) and continuing through 11:59 pm PST on March 31st.
WHERE:
Anywhere LimeBike is available!
HOW:
- Check #LimeRideIntoSpring on Twitter & Instagram to help set your goal
- Connect with or challenge other riders who have submitted their longest distance(s)
- Locate, unlock, and start riding to earn your longest distance score
- Once you are done riding, our app gives you the option to share your score on social media (Twitter)Use the feature right away, or screenshot your ride to share your score @LimeBike anywhere (FB, IG, Twitter), tagging #LimeRideIntoSpring and your score will be immediately registered as an entry!
Contest Terms and Conditions:
- We know you’re clever, but exercise good judgement. You may already be thinking of fun or even devious ways to game the system, but the data don’t lie ;) We know the top and average speeds of each of our vehicles, so unlocking and then say driving (nay flying?) one of our vehicles to fake a longest distance score will simply be grounds for disqualification.
- Only the longest rides on a Lime-S, Lime-E or any of our LimeBikes that areproperly submittedwill be eligible to win
- Multiple entries are allowed
- There will be 3 grand prize winners selected - one winner for each of the longest rides on a Lime-E, Lime-S, and a LimeBike (any gear type)
- Winners must have registered LimeBike accounts to enter
- Riders may utilize ride credits or promotional codes toward their longest ride, but keep in mind that subscription rides do not apply to our E-Vehicles
- **Runners up may also be rewarded, and have their rides comped… so get creative on your submissions**
- Any distance you ride is worth submitting
- We are starting fresh:Without any incentive, several enthusiastic and athletic folks have already taken trips that would have been great entries. Several logging rides of over 30 miles! (Can you believe it)? But while we love their efforts, for this epic throw-down, everything that may have counted as a long distance before is zeroed out, starting at 12:00AM EST on March 16th, 2018.
- *Rides may originate anywhere LimeBike is available, but must end and be parked properly in cities where LimeBike currently operates*
