Biking With Bobcats: LimeBike Launches at St. Thomas University

Get ready, Bobcats. Starting today, there’s a new “green” way to get across campus.
LimeBike is proud to be serving the students, faculty, and staff at St. Thomas University, marking the first time a dockless bike sharing company has launched at a school in South Florida. Whether you’re heading to the library to study, meeting friends at the Rathskeller, or catching a game at the Fernandez Family Center, our fleet of 3G, GPS-enabled smart bikes will be ready to get you there safely, affordably, and on time.
“It’s an honor to be launching at St. Thomas University,” says Gauthier Derrien, LimeBike’s GM of Operations for South Florida. “From the great weather to the incredible people who study and work here, we couldn’t be more excited to help provide easier access to classrooms, dorms, and activities throughout the community.”
While our LimeBikes traditionally cost $1 per 30 minutes to ride, students, faculty, and staff at St. Thomas - along with universities throughout the country - will benefit from 50% pricing. This means that Bobcats can pedal a LimeBike for as little as $0.50! We’ll also be giving all new accounts registered with an @stu.edu email address a free full day of riding on January 10th, along with 5 more free rides to use anytime starting January 11th. No promo code required!
To celebrate the launch, LimeBike is holding a kickoff party at the Convocation Hall on January 10th from 12:15-1:30 pm. Stop down and meet the local LimeBike team who will be working to make sure your dockless bike sharing experience is as awesome as your grades last semester!
...they were awesome, right?
